Shipping Policy

We accept orders from all countries for delivery within the US only.

* WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SHIP WINE ORDERS TO KENTUCKY, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, NEVADA, TENNESSEE, OR UTAH AT THIS TIME * WE DO HOWEVER SHIP STEMWARE AND ACCESSORIES TO EACH OF THESE STATES.

SHIPPING SPECIAL FOR NEW YORK AND FLORIDA: Only $6.99 for up to 12 bottles via UPS Ground to any destination in New York and Florida! To other mainland USA states, where permitted, shipping charges are:

$9.99 for 1-6 bottles or accessory items (accessories will ship at no additional charge with a wine order if they fit in the wine shipping box)

$19.98 for 7-12 bottles or accessory items

For stemware, shipping cost via UPS is $9.99 for up to 6 stems (or one decanter) per shipping box.

Our national wine shipping charge of just $19.98 per case is the lowest in the business.

A surcharge applies on shipments for delivery to Hawaii and Alaska. Please call or e-mail for exact rates. We do not ship outside the US at this time. Please note that UPS will generally not deliver to a PO Box address--we must have a physical delivery address.

We must rely on our customers for correct delivery information. If you realize the address you've given us is incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible! If we have not yet shipped the package, we will gladly make the correction. Once we release an order to UPS for delivery, we are no longer able to make changes to the address. If we are notified of an error after the package is released to UPS and before delivery, we will need to recall the package and hold the customer responsible for a $13 UPS return shipping charge. We can then re-ship the package to the corrected address, subject to normal shipping charges.

Note that once a package has been delivered by UPS to an incorrect address, we have no recourse for recovery if the unintended recipient refuses to cooperate. We will, of course, take full responsibility for any shipment lost due to any error on our part.

All products are sold FOB Select Wines wine warehouse(depending on the delivery address) and title passes to the buyer in at the respective wine warehouse where local sales tax applies. Select Wines, LLC, makes no representation to the legal rights of the buyer to ship or import wines into any other state, and the buyer is solely responsible for shipment. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Charges for shipping wine will be applied to orders with a $6.99 maximum per case charge for delivery points within New York and Florida. NYS sales tax of 7.375%, Calfornia tax of 8.25%, New Hampshire tax of 8% OR Florida sales tax of 6.5% will be added to your order, depending on which wine warehouse processes your order.

Delivery to most destinations within 1 to 5 days of placing order. We use UPS Ground for most shipments.

Expedited shipping options available. Please call or e-mail to inquire about Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd Day Select rates, or to receive UPS Tracking info for your order.

Severe heat and cold can put our wines at risk during transit. At our discretion, we may choose to delay certain shipments during certain months, pending improved weather conditions. Please let us know if your order must arrive by a particular date. We stand behind our products and will re-ship at our expense, if necessary.

To be safe during extremes of weather, we recommend using our new Templiner(R) Aluminum Insulated Box Lining to protect against extreme heat and cold. We'll ship your order with extra protection and guarantee your wine arrives in top condition.

Select Wines ships most orders using our patented lay-flat insulated foam. If you are shipping wine to a destination with extreme temperatures, we recommend you add our optional Templiner Aluminum Box Lining to reflect ambiant heat spikes, buffering the wines from potentially detrimental temperature swings during transit.

Developed by NASA, the Templiner technology used to develop this insulated bag is intended to reflect 95% of radiant heat exposure, creating an effective radiant barrier. This is the same material used to insulate containerized freight. We place our patented insulated foam inside this bag and seal it within a corrugated box. All work is performed within our temperature-controlled warehouses at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Templiner also protects against damage from spikes in ambiant humidity. In regions where temperatures range above 95 degrees or below 25 degrees over several days, and if your package may be left outside, we recommend you add this to your order.
