Jim Smoot, Viticulturist for Orchid Hill, is a legend in the Paso Robles region. Jim is a true Paso Robles pioneer, planting and nurturing a deep variety of vines under all sorts of conditions, always delivering as he promises.

Combine his involvement with that of winemaker extraordinare Dan Kleck, successful in winemaking for over 26 years, most recently for Kendall-Jackson's Great Estates series, and you're destined to produce an exceptional wine: 2004 Orchid Hill Pinot Noir.

The list of accolades for this wine is already long, including a Gold Medal at the 2006 San Francisco International Wine Competition. Orchid Hill's 2004 Primi Zinfandel just received 91 points from Wine Spectator and subsequently sold out in the entire US in a matter of days--don't wait for this Pinot Noir to befall a similar fate.
