Old Tbilisi Alazani "Semi-Sweet Red" is made from two varietals native to the Republic of Georgia, Saperavi 60% and Rkatsiteli 40%. The name Alazani comes from one of the major river systems of Georgia that borders with Azerbaijan. The climate is slightly warmer than other Georgian wine growing regions and produces much sweeter grapes.

Old Tbilisi Alazani "Semi-Sweet Red" was vinified in the Achinebuli Winery. It was blended to create a soft semi-sweet wine with light fruit tones and low acidity for easy drinking. The wine is light red when young, softening to a brick red color within the first 2 years. The nose exhibits sweet, ripe berry fruit. The palate shows sweet blackberry fruit best enjoyed over the next 3-5 years.

Serve Old Tbilisi Alazani "Semi-Sweet Red" chilled with soft cheeses, desserts, or fruit, or savor it at room temperature by the fireplace on a winter evening.

"Case discount price" reflects a 10% case discount (5% on Sparkling Wines) for any mixed-case purchase of 12 bottles or more shipped to a single address. "Special prices" (e.g. on gift sets) are final prices for any order, and these bottles also count toward a 12-bottle minimum to qualify for a case discount. FOR ALL OTHER ORDERS OF FEWER THAN 12 BOTTLES IN TOTAL, REGULAR PRICES WILL BE APPLIED WHEN WE PROCESS YOUR FINAL INVOICE.
