This is the baby brother of the 91 point Wine Spectator rated Clos des Soutyeres that sold out within two weeks. A very complex, chewy Languedoc red that rivals Northern Rhone wines costing twice as much. Only 250 cases of this gem were imported.

This Rhone-style red is your perfect companion to the upcoming barbeque season. Dark plum fruit with a touch of smoke and spice intermingle with just a hint of white pepper and licorice on the lingering finish. Enjoy 2004 Les Verrieres with burgers, grilled meat, ribs, sausages or lamb, but also with game, spicier dishes or hearty fare anytime.
