One of the VERY best values in single-appellation Zinfandel? Absolutely, especially at well under $20 per bottle by the case.

The 2005 scored 90 points and was designated a Best Buy by Wine Spectator; the 2006 is no less impressive! Seghesio's Sonoma Zinfandel combines fruit from number of their estate vineyards, including Home Ranch, River Road, Lone Oak and San Lorenzo in Alexander Valley and Cortina in Dry Creek Valley.

Marked by lush dark berry and briary fruit on the nose and palate with a slight black pepper zip, this is a very versatile wine with BBQ, roasts, fowl, venison or just about anything else begging for a substantial red. Juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins keep this wine balanced, with nice depth and structure.



"Case discount price" reflects a 10% case discount (5% on Sparkling Wines) for any mixed-case purchase of 12 bottles or more shipped to a single address.
