Paulinshof Riesling Estate Halbtrocken is an excellent introduction to this noble grape varietal in a dry, crisp, clean style--the 2007 version is unquestionably the most impressive release yet! Paulinshof is an oft-awarded Mosel producer with a history dating back to the year 936, whose wines were favored by President Jefferson early on in America's history. Gault Millau crowned this producer "Top Three Semi-Dry Producers of Germany" in 2003. Alles Ueber Wein, a prominent European publication, named Paulinshof "Winery of the Year" in 2000.

Paulinshof Riesling Estate Halbtrocken is pale yellow-green in color with an aromatic nose of green apples, apricot, lemon, and mineral notes. It is light-medium in body with crisp acidity and no tannins, offering ripe flavors of apples, apricots, quince, and ginger. Stainless steel fermented with no oak. The wine is elegant in style, well balanced in fruit, sugar, and acidity. It cleans the palate on the finish.
