At a time when most sophisticated Viognier costs upwards of $35 a bottle, 2006 Orchid Hill Paso Robles Viognier offers all the bells and whistles for just over $20 per bottle.

Orchid Hill is a 51 acre vineyard located on sloping limestone hills in the Templeton Gap area of the west side of Paso Robles Wine Country.

Orchid Hill's low-vigor vineyards enjoy ideal southeast facing sun exposure and cooling afternoon breezes. The vines are meticulously hand tended and harvested. This environment provides wines with exceptional bouquet, depth of color, and impressive ripeness of flavors.

Vibrantly perfumed and aromatic, 206 Orchid Hill Viognier is rich and supple textured, offering up gobs of fresh flavors of peach, mango and fruit cocktail, with just the right touch of oak to add creaminess to the finish.

Unquestionably our favorite Viognier find of the past couple of years!
