This is ONE STUNNING Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon blend! Aged for 17 months in 100% French barrels, of which roughly 60% were new, this jewel-of-the-ranch red serves as homage to founder Robert Miner.

A mere 150 cases were produced; the Cabernet Franc lends terroir-driven earthiness, which is a brilliant counterpoint to the fruit and structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon component.

Located on a sloping plateau that rises 1400 feet above the Silverado Trail on the East side of the Napa Valley, Oakville Ranch was one of the Oakville appellation's pioneering vineyards. We've always been duly impressed with their efforts, and this flagship release continues our long string of admiration.

Winemaker Ashley Heisey has created a masterpiece here--fans of California wine who appreciate complexity in addition to power & weight should not be without this wine.
