Move over, Alsace. Pinot Gris of this quality typically sells for $20+ per bottle! 2006 Nyakas Cellars Reserve Pinot Gris is handcrafted for Monarchia Estates in the Buda wine region near Budapest. It’s an elegant and thoroughly enjoyable, complex white wine. Fewer than 500 cases were produced.

Nyakas Cellars Reserve Pinot Gris is straw yellow in color with a nose of stone fruits, citrus, green apples, and forest notes. Medium in body with lively acidity, the wine offers elegance and complexity with flavors of apricot, lemon, and green apples. It is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 3-4 years, with considerable length on the finish.
