To quote a June 1, 2007 Wall Street Journal article: "As it happens, the sun is rising on rosé. We've been saying since 2000 that Americans finally seemed ready...We said two years ago that the floodgates of rosé were beginning to open. Well, whoooosh. They're wide open now."

For us here at Select Wines, Monarchia Cellars Rosé is a perfect rosé wine for summertime. Crisp, dry yet fruity, this lively rosé is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon handcrafted by Monarchia Cellars in Eger. If you have not yet discovered how utterly pleasing a dry rose is on a hot summer day with just about any cuisine, you owe it to yourself to try this one!

Monarchia Cellars Rosé is soft pink in color with a pleasing nose, medium body and juicy flavors reminiscent of bing cherries and berries. Fuller-bodied than most rosé wines from Provence and more akin to a California dry rosé in style, Monarchia Cellars Rosé is a great accompaniment to salads, chicken, salmon, pork, grilled vegetables and spicier cuisine. The finish is long and smooth.



"Case discount price" reflects a 10% case discount (5% on Sparkling Wines) for any mixed-case purchase of 12 bottles or more shipped to a single address. "Special prices" (e.g. on gift sets) are final prices for any order, and these bottles also count toward a 12-bottle minimum to qualify for a case discount.
