Situated on the slopes of the Southern Mt Lofty ranges, between Victor Harbor and Mount Compass (approximately fifty minutes drive south of Adelaide), Mosquito Hills' vineyards are north facing with an elevation of about 800 feet--great terroir for growing exceptional Pinot Noir.

The vineyard is dry grown, with the wine made under the stewardship of Peter Leske. The result: one of the VERY best $20 Pinot Noirs from ANYWHERE we've tasted in a while. Rich and clean, with excellent red fruit flavors along with black cherries, spritely acid and very elegant tannins, this first-time import fires on all cylinders.
