Domaine Machard de Gramont Nuits-St-Georges "Les Damodes" shows off the elegance of the Pinot Noir varietal. It is produced by fourth-generation Burgundians in the Nuits-St-George appellation of the famous Côte d’Or. Robert Parker rated the overall 2003 vintage for the Côtes de Nuits 93 points.

Machard de Gramont Nuits-St-Georges "Les Damodes" is deep ruby red in color with a gorgeous nose of black cherries, black raspberries, earth, smoke and spice. Medium in body with bright acidity and lean tannins, it shows beautiful flavors of black cherry, raspberry, leather, earth, smoke and spice, with well integrated oak. Richly textured and complex, it is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 8-10 years. The finish is long and rich.
