Lobster Point originates from the capable hands of Chris Parker at Mount Cass Winery located in the famed Waipara Valley of South Island, New Zealand, a region that is just burgeoning with new wineries. This namesake of the mountain range that literally shields the wine from cooler easterly Pacific breezes is proudly one of the three top vineyards of the region, where it employs some of the region’s oldest vines! Great use of local terroir and the accompanying warm autumnal weather provide the perfect setting for its substantially richer fruit, unique to this appellation of New Zealand.
