A mere 200 cases were produced, and only 45 cases found their way to the US--buy yours today to avoid disappointment.

Stylistically, 2006 Kartauserhof Sauvignon Blanc combines all the best elements of Northern Italian, New Zealand and Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, offering up copious amounts of grass-tinged citrus notes braced by nice minerality and citrus tones on the palate. Quite full-bodied for a Sauvignon Blanc, it possesses a very long, crisp finish with just a touch of gooseberries. Proprietor Karl Stierschneider has truly outdone himself here--don't miss this top-notch effort from a Wachau super star!
