We're not surprised: Karl Stierschneider's Riesling Federspiel Trocken Hinterkirchen 2006 recently scored an amazing 91 points at $22 suggested retail, proving once again that Stierschneider is at the VERY top of his game when it comes to producing incredible wines at fairly reasonable price points: "Powerful aromas and flavors of flint, mineral, apple and smoke are backed up by plenty of crisp acidity. Shows hints of gooseberry and peat on the finish. Very racy and focused. Best ...through 2013. 1250 cases made."

The follow up 2007 vintage is no less impressive. A mere 135 cases of this gem were imported; act today, as only 35 cases remain in our importer's warehouse!
