Herzog Special Reserve Syrah is a beautiful Edna Valley red from winemaker Peter Stern that is Kosher for Passover. The 2001 vintage of this wine was awarded Wine Spectator's "Critics' Choice Award" and received a 93-point rating from Decanter Magazine. We challenge you to find any better Syrah at this price!

Herzog Special Reserve Syrah is deep ruby/purple in color with moderate acidity and a nose of black currant, black cherry, cedar, mineral and floral notes. Full-bodied with soft tannins, it is elegant and complex, with rich flavors of black currant, black cherry, blackberry, vanilla and anise, and well integrated oak. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 8-10 years, it is long and rich on the finish.
