We consider this the "hottest" reasonably priced, higher-end wine to come out of Hungary since Takler's introduction of Noir Gold several years back.

Layers upon layers of stunning, dark berry fruit are framed by elements of spice, toast and vanilla, resulting in an impression of "supercharged" Pinot Noir great Kekfrankos is capable of giving.

Owned and managed by a Swiss/German couple, Heumann Winery in a short few years has risen into the true elite among Hungarian producers; one might argue that with the release of the extraordinary 2006 wines, Heumann might even represent THE pinnacle of Villany winemaking.

Hurry, as only 100 cases of the ultra limited production 2006 Kekfrankos were imported--they are certain to sell out quickly.
