Excelsior Estate is owned by Stephen and Freddie De Wet, fourth generation of a proud family winemaking tradition dating to 1697. This Excelsior Cabernet Sauvignon is one of their more recent works of art--a quality Cab at a very affordable price. Enjoy!

Excelsior Cabernet Sauvignon is dark plum red in color with a nose of black currant, plum, earth and spice. Medium-full in body, it is dry with moderate acidity and soft, ripe tannins. It offers rich, intense flavors of plums, black currant and toasty oak. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 5-6 years, it has a long and smooth finish.
