Clüsserath-Weiler Riesling HC Estate is a beautiful wine for those who appreciate Riesling. German wine authority Eichelmann classifies this winery a 5-Star Eichelmann Producer, one of only 7 in the Mosel. Eichelmann named Clüsserath-Weiler "Winery of the Year" in Germany for 2003. This is a wine not to be missed! Entirely Spatlese grapes from the Mehringer Zellerberg vineyard, estate-bottled. ONLY 250 CASES PRODUCED.

Clüsserath-Weiler Riesling HC Estate is light yellow-green in color with an intense nose of ripe apples, apricot, quince, and mineral notes. Medium in body, crisp and clean, it is slightly off-dry. Its flavors of apples, apricots, quince, and spice combine powerful intensity with elegance. The wine has a gorgeous balance of fruit, acidity and sugar, with an extremely long finish.

Enjoy Clüsserath-Weiler Riesling HC Estate over the next 8-10 years with pan-fried trout, grilled shrimp, spicy Thai dishes, chicken salad, and mild cheeses. And it is one of the wonderful matches for ham too!!
