The 2005 release of this wine was one of our top-ten selling wines two years year, and for good reason! The 2006 followed in its footsteps last year, and the 2007 is no less impressive!

Chateau La Roche Saint Jean Bordeaux is a beautiful red and our first arrival from the 2007 Bordeaux vintage, boding well for many future releases to follow. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Chateau La Roche Saint Jean Bordeaux is garnet red in color with a nose of plum, black cherry, cassis, earth and spice. It is medium-full in body with soft, ripe tannins. The wine offers flavors of blackberries, black cherries, plums, and vanilla-oak. Food-friendly with rich flavors, it is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 6-7 years. It is long, round and smooth on the finish.
