Still think that all Riesling is sweet? Meet Bernhard Eifel, a 4-star Eichelmann producer and rising super-star. He has produced this dry Riesling Qualitatswein from the Mosel of Germany as a fine introduction to the noble varietal.

Bernhard Eifel Riesling Trittenheimer Altarchen Trocken is straw yellow in color with a fragrant nose of peaches, green apples, apricot, lemon, and mineral notes. It is medium in body with crisp acidity and no tannins. The wine offers flavors of peaches, green apples and citrus, with no oak. The winemaker uses very cool fermentation with predominantly natural yeast. Elegant, complex and food-friendly, the wine is well balanced to enjoy over the next 5-6 years. The finish is crisp and cleansing.
