Now in its fourth vintage, Averill Lake Chardonnay has become a staff go-to wine from California, named for the winemaker's favorite place in the US, home to his grandparents' summer house. Our tasting panel was very impressed with the style and balance of the 2007 Averill Lake Chardonnay. Only 1200 cases produced in this vintage.

Averill Lake Chardonnay is straw yellow in color with an appealing nose of citrus, apple, nectarine, vanilla, and floral notes. Medium-full in body, dry, crisp and smooth, this wine offers rich flavors of pear, apple, peach, citrus, and vanilla, with a light touch of oak. It is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 5-6 years. Long, rich and refreshing on the finish.
