California

Averill Lake Cabernet Sauvignon is named for the winemaker's favorite place in the world. Although the appellation on the bottle is California, this wine is a very limited production made predominantly from ultra-high-quality Carneros fruit.

2005 Averill Lake Cabernet Sauvignon is deep crimson red in color with a perfumed nose of blackberry, cherry, plum, vanilla, spice, and herbal notes. Dry, medium-full-bodied, with moderate acidity, this Cab offers flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, vanilla and floral notes. It was aged 18-24 months in small oak barrels. Structured and complex, it is rich and complex, and long on the finish.

Enjoy 2005 Averill Lake Cabernet Sauvignon with filet mignon, pork tenderloin, and hearty tomato based pasta dishes.

"Case discount price" reflects a 10% case discount (5% on Sparkling Wines) for any mixed-case purchase of 12 bottles or more shipped to a single address. "Special prices" (e.g. on gift sets) are final prices for any order, and these bottles also count toward a 12-bottle minimum to qualify for a case discount. FOR ALL OTHER ORDERS OF FEWER THAN 12 BOTTLES IN TOTAL, REGULAR PRICES WILL BE APPLIED WHEN WE PROCESS YOUR FINAL INVOICE.
