Stags Leap, Napa Valley

The Beau Vigne vineyard sits atop Stag's Leap in the Foss Valley. It is managed by low yield farming, offering a small intense berry. Characteristics of the rocky soil and terroir are similar to those of the Paulliac region of France.

With a nose of blackberries black currants and coffee beans, the Juliet explodes on the palate with loads of dark fruit and a hint of toasted oak on the concentrated, 30 second plus finish. This wine is sure to win over even the most stringent Napa Cabernet fan!

The Wine Advocate raves in its December 2008 issue: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Juliet (a 770-case blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, and 3% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc)...is a gorgeous effort. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by beautiful aromas of blackberries, black currants, coffee beans, cedar, and toasty oak, a wine with vivid fruit, an expansive, savory mouthfeel, sweet tannin, and a long finish. This is a beauty to drink over the next decade or more."
