The top critics agree, as the 2001 vintage wine received stellar ratings including a 94 from Robert Parker. The 1999 received a "Best of Tasting" honor from the Wall Street Journal. Don't miss this new release! This estate uses only old-vine grapes from their 72 acres, combining 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 3% Garnacha and 2% Malvasia/Viura in this beautiful wine.

Remirez de Ganuza Rioja is dense ruby/plum in color with an amazing nose of blackberry, plum, cherry, tobacco and spice. Huge and complex, it offers intense concentration of black fruit impeccably balanced with its firm tannins and ample acidity. Aged one year in tank and two years in Bordelaise oak barrels, then bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is a true red wine lover's dream! The wine is extraordinarily long and complex on the finish.
